All About Me
I’m a Scorpio who lives up to the name: quiet and small, but deadly. Though I’m under 100 pounds, my ideas about social justice are not so little. In 2018 I scored first place at a speech and debate competition. My award hangs above the poetry medal I achieved for advocating for ocean awareness. My long orange hair lets others know I’m poisonous if they try to mess with me. I’ve gotten into fights with strangers who have disrespected my friends and myself. Every punch stung, but I don’t have a medal for winning those ones. I’ve always been a fighter, ever since I survived a tumor when I was little. Though I am small, I am determined and full of perseverance. But just as a Scorpio is a dangerous fighter, I am also a water sign. My big hazel brown eyes overflow with truths, compassion, empathy, creativity, and burning questions for the world.
